Setup DNS in Plesk

Please note that we do not offer DNS hosting. To get your site hosted on the VPS, you can either:

1. Use the Name Servers of your Domain's Registrar and point the "A Record" to the IP of your VPS.

2. Or use your own Name Servers, also known as Private Name Servers. This means that your DNS will be from your VPS and this will involve two different setups - DNS setup in Plesk and DNS setup from your Domain's Registrar.

A.  When you add a domain in Plesk, a DNS Record with a prefix "ns" will be generated and that will be pointed to your IP Address. Eg. ns.yourdomain.com - 1.1.1.1

Your domain's Name Server from Plesk will also be ns.yourdomain.com.

B.  Now from your Domain's Registrar, kindly browse to their control panel and see how can you setup a Custom/Private Name Servers. You will need to create something like ns.yourdomain.com and point it to your IP Address (eg. 1.1.1.1).
